Organising mass-appealing Go-activities, in order to increase the prominence, acceptance and support of Go in our community, e.g.:
Schoolday "East Asia First-hand"
Go tournament with the whole school in combination with East Asian supporting program as project day including media involvement
302 pupils, 28 teachers and 38 volunteers participated at the first project day at the high school "Oberschule Bischofswerda" in Saxony, Germany. Some of them introduced the game to their family and friends, resulting in a total reach bigger than the number of participants. The local press covered the project several times and there is even a video documentation on Youtube.
The project shall be organized on several more schools. Interested schools can apply online to have the project organized at their school.
Project "Playful Communication with Go - Discovering Diversity"
Event in occasion of the UNESCO World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Developement, organized in cooperation with diverse local associations, institutions and doers. The project was organized for the first time in Saxony with focus on Dresden in 2016. One year later it was first in Bavaria in the region Erlangen and Erlangen-Höchstadt
